Well I went to Rome for Spring Break, Rome has the vatican, colecium, pantheon, so many villas and beautiful places, all of wich were made over 1,000s of years ago, and I thaught to myself, they could make things that last so long, and look so great with not even 1/1000th of the technology we have today, and if they can do that why can't we do better?
Well I considered and I thaught, well know that we do have this technology maybe we do not care about beaty anymore, maybe we care about the use, wich to me is a shame.
I vectorised Atlas Fountain at Castle Howard and then vectorised part of the New York city sky line, wich is one of the most technologicly advanced places in the world and put the technologicly and ugly one right side up and put the foutain upside down, showing that it is disruppted.
I know it is not the best, but I was not looking for the best art but for the meaning on this specific peace.
As far as the debate goes. I personally love Manhattan's architecture. I see where your conflict is, but I think you're just someone who relates to one type of style better than the others.
We love horses, we love drawing, we love gifts, AND we love Christmas. We're gonna combine all that to make Christmas 2009 on dA a seriously awesome one!
